Probe Stations Maintenance Tips Not to be Missed

Probe Stations are mainly used to test the electrical parameters of semiconductor chips and are suitable for scientific research, analysis, sampling and testing. In terms of maintenance, pay attention to avoid collision and carry the instrument correctly. Keep it clean and dry after use to avoid dust contamination. As far as the working environment is concerned, the probe table should be placed on a probe station workbench and used in a suitable temperature and humidity range.

I. Purpose of manual control probe stage:

The main purpose of the manual probe stage is to provide a test platform for testing the electrical parameters of semiconductor chips. The probe stage can be adapted to different chip specifications and is equipped with multiple debuggable probes and probe holders. By utilizing the measuring instrument, the voltage characteristic curve of voltage, current,test probe resistance and capacitance of integrated circuits can be tested. It is suitable for scientific research, analysis, SPOT detection and testing of chips.

Second, the maintenance and care of the probe stage

1. Avoid collision

Avoid collision when installing and operating the CS probe platform. The body should be placed flat, not tilted or horizontally tilted to avoid machine failure or abnormal noise.

2. Transporting the instrument

When transporting the instrument, please unplug the power cord.

A special packing case should be used for transportation of the instrument to prevent students from touching any of the moving functional parts of the Probe Stage.

3. Storing the instrument

After use, care should be taken to keep the instrument as clean and dry as possible in order to avoid dust contamination of mechanical precision parts, optical components and electrical contact surfaces, which may reduce the accuracy of the instrument.

When cleaning the probe body, avoid splashing water directly and dry it gently with a dust-free cloth. Do not touch the machine with hard objects to avoid malfunction or danger.

When cleaning the optical part of the probe table, use lens paper dipped in * to gently wipe away from the center. Flammable material, pay attention to the safety of use.

Go out for a long time without power to unplug the power cord, so as to maintain the service life of the machine.

In order to be able to ensure the accuracy of the enterprise data and the normal use of the instrument, micromanipulator the operation of the management personnel must be strictly in accordance with the requirements of the students to operate.

4.Working environment

The probe should be placed on a stable and reliable workbench, preferably on a shockproof workbench to avoid high temperature, humidity, severe vibration, direct sunlight and dust.

The optimal temperature range is 5 ~ 40 °C and the optimal humidity range is 40% ~ 85%. If the humidity in the air is lower than 30% , we can use a reliable humidity controller to keep the humidity in the range of 50% to 60% . During use, doors and windows should be closed as much as possible to achieve the effect of dehumidification.
